# FirmPilot: Evidence-Guided Multi-Agent Environment Recovery for IoT Firmware Rehosting

> FirmPilot reconstructs QEMU execution environments through coordinated retrieval, planning, filesystem, persistent-state and network recovery. Proposed changes are applied as constrained artifact deltas, then checked by rerunning the firmware and fixed probes.

## Scope and limitations

The main denominator is 10,033 obtainable LFwC images, not all 10,913 metadata records. Reachability under a 2,400-second budget is not whole-device equivalence; HTTP success can include redirects or authentication gates. Reported results use one LLM backend and fixed probes.

## Why it fits this collection

Uses execution evidence to recover the missing environment needed to inspect firmware behavior.

## Publication and review notes
