# decomp.me

> Collaborative decompilation website for matching work: its compile service builds candidate source with a selected platform compiler, assembles the target assembly and diffs the two objects with asm-differ. m2c drafts initial decompilations for its MIPS, PowerPC, ARM and SuperH platforms. The 18 platform definitions span N64, PlayStation, PS2, PSP, GameCube/Wii, Wii U, DS, GBA, 3DS, Switch, Saturn, Dreamcast and Xbox 360 plus IRIX, Mac OS X, MS-DOS, Win32 and Android x86.

## Requirements & limits

- Use the hosted site or self-host the Next.js/Django stack with Docker and Docker Compose; the self-hosting guide asks for at least 4 GB RAM, ideally 6 GB+. Its Docker configuration disables Switch support by default because of the Clang compilers' size, and ENABLE_<PLATFORM>_SUPPORT variables enable platforms.
- Each platform definition names its assembler, objdump and nm commands; compilers are added as packages in the separate decompme/compilers repository. Compiler, assembler and objdump subprocesses can run in an nsjail sandbox, enabled by default in the cromper container; outside it, nsjail must be built locally with unprivileged user namespaces enabled.
- MIT license; the README notes that dependencies keep their own licenses. No tagged releases, so this entry pins the reviewed main-branch commit. Diffs show instruction-level differences for the compiled code and m2c output is a draft; neither recovers names, types or semantics.
