# iDotMatrix: Home Assistant control through a reconstructed BLE protocol

> iDotMatrix Home Assistant integration controls the HXS-002 / NL-XSD-32 LED panel over a BLE protocol derived from analysis of the vendor Android app. Its vendored protocol module and hardware-capture tests support power, brightness, clock controls and chunked 32×32 image uploads with CRC32.

## Requirements & limits

- **Prerequisites:** Home Assistant with a Bluetooth adapter or nearby ESPHome/Shelly Bluetooth proxy is required.
- **Limits:** The panel accepts only one BLE connection at a time.
- **Limits:** Some protocol modes, including carousel/GIF storage and rhythm/spectrum, are not exposed as Home Assistant entities.
- **License:** No licence file in the repository.
