# MSI Mystic Light on Linux: reconstructing B860/X870 lighting control

> MSI Mystic Light on Linux implements lighting control for an MSI motherboard from USB traffic captured while MSI Center ran in a Windows VM. Its Python script sends a 290-byte HID Feature report to controller 0db0:0076, while the documentation maps modes, RGB palette bytes, brightness, direction and the flash-save flag.
