# SteelSeries Overlay Hook: mapping and hooking the GameOverlay swapchain

> SteelSeries Overlay Hook documents IDA analysis of SteelSeriesGameOverlay.dll’s window, object layout and Direct3D 11 swapchain, then uses recovered offsets in a C++ DLL hook. Its injector and hook render Dear ImGui content through the existing GameOverlay window by intercepting Present and ResizeBuffers.
