# swe1r-assets-unity: Racer model-block editor sample

> Work-in-progress Unity editor sample for importing and modifying Star Wars Episode I: Racer model blocks, then serializing them back through swe1r-assets. Its editor includes an unmodified import/export byte-comparison command; it is an asset-format workflow rather than a reimplementation of the game.

## Requirements & limits

- The README explicitly says this is currently a sample project. The package and sample pin Unity 2022.3.30f1; packages.config references SWE1R.Assets.Blocks 0.0.1-alpha.15 and ByteSerialization 0.0.1-alpha.9. Required game block files are read from a user-selected local game-data directory.
- Model import/export is wired in the editor and importer/exporter classes. Texture, spline and sprite sections currently expose filenames without equivalent operation controls; spline importer/exporter subclasses are empty.
- Test Re-Export compares the original and serialized model-item byte arrays with SequenceEqual, and Test Re-Export All loops over the loaded model block. The README claims bit-perfect unchanged round trips, but the tree contains no saved corpus/result report.
- Repository code has an MIT LICENSE and source SPDX headers. That code license is not evidence of permission to redistribute the original game data.
