BMS RS485 Service Suite: reconstructing a battery-service bus protocol
BMS RS485 Service Suite documents an observed ASCII RS485 protocol for battery-management services and implements frame building and decoding in Node-RED. The specification covers framing, length and checksum fields, request and response rules and decoded service IDs; the wider suite connects JK and DALY BLE data to MQTT and dashboards.

Requirements & limits
- Prerequisites: A Raspberry Pi and Node-RED are the documented service environment; BLE gateways use MQTT and optional Python dependencies.
- Limits: The specification records observed and currently decoded RS485 services; some write acknowledgements are handled generically.
- License: No licence file in the repository.
