Cooper Hunter AC: UART and infrared protocol investigation
Cooper Hunter AC documents the COM1 UART and infrared control messages of CH-IF140RK and CH-IF140RK2 units with a Gree GRZQ3-R V1 board. The author inferred UART status fields by comparing packets while operating the infrared remote. The resulting ESPHome design receives UART status and sends control through an infrared signal path.

Requirements & limits
- Prerequisites: Cooper Hunter CH-IF140RK or CH-IF140RK2 with the documented Gree GRZQ3-R V1 board, plus an ESP32 running ESPHome for the described setup.
- Scope: The final wiring uses UART receive only; control uses infrared signal injection.
- Limits: Some protocol fields are marked tentative in PROTOCOL.md.
