Integration

IDA NO MCP

IDA Pro exporter that turns an analyzed binary into plain files for AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code instead of serving it over MCP. It writes each decompiled function as a .c file, or as .asm when decompilation fails, under a header listing its name, address, callers and callees, along with the string, import and export tables, 1 MB hexdump chunks of every segment and logs of fallbacks, failures and skipped library functions. It ships as an IDA plugin (Export for AI, Ctrl-Shift-E) for small and medium files and as a Rust command-line binary for large or batch exports, which can skip IDA's auto-analysis.

Requirements & limits

  • Prerequisites: The plugin, oldpython/INP.py, goes into IDA's plugins directory (%APPDATA%\Hex-Rays\IDA Pro\plugins on Windows, .idapro/plugins under the home directory on Linux and macOS). The Rust binary needs a local IDA Pro 9.x, whose non-redistributable libida and libidalib libraries it links at run time, plus LLVM/Clang for bindgen; it must be built natively on each platform, with an idalib crate version that matches the IDA release, such as idalib 0.9.0 for IDA 9.3sp1.
  • Limits: The Chinese README says the in-IDA plugin can hang on files of 100 MB or more, which the standalone binary's --skip-analysis option avoids. The repository has no releases, and the reviewed main commit dates from 2026-07-26.
  • License: The repository has no license file and GitHub detects no license.
