Requirements & limits
- Testing evidence: The v0.5.0 preview reports macOS Apple Silicon testing; Windows/Linux builds still need device validation. The macOS package is ad-hoc signed and not notarized.
- Limits: The experimental importer is documented against controlled Jianying 11.0.12922 drafts. Basic conversions are lossy: effects, keyframes and styles can be lost, and projects cannot be written back.
- Attribution: REA supports the reported research workflow but is not a runtime dependency. The project uses its own code and format; MIT source and bundled third-party components retain separate licenses.
