Requirements & limits

  • Provide an image of a game you own and a compatible executable decrypter. Builds need Git, CMake, Ninja, C++20, Python 3, PSPRecomp and Emscripten. Linux is the documented tested build host; macOS is untested.
  • Author demonstrations cover two Ready at Dawn titles sharing an engine. Other games can require missing HLE calls or graphics features. Movies are skipped, and encrypted saves from a PSP or PPSSPP do not yet load.
  • Threaded browser hosting requires cross-origin isolation headers and HTTP Range support. The optional native runner also requires EGL/OpenGL ES development headers.
  • Upstream states that game data is not included and asks users not to redistribute generated game C++ or WebAssembly. Project code uses MIT; the bundled ATRAC decoder retains LGPL-2.1-or-later.
